Uncle Munshi was such a nice and decent person and he had a healthy and long life. Very sad to hear of his passing away. I had visited him twice during my time in the army. Memories are so fresh in my mind. The quiet and serene village of Behkri along the railway line and his tall and ramrod straight figure and pleasant smiling face are all memories etched in my mind. I reckon the heaven would be populated by such people. He was a real angelic figure. I do not remember him being involved in any politics while in service. My father was very close to him. May the Almighty rest his soul in peace and give strength to Mushtaq and family to bear the loss. Ameen
