Special thanks to FANLINK members for turning up at Stanley Masjid gathering yesterday. Many of our members could not turn up due to their commitment with the launch of the FANLINK POST. The gathering was well attended filling the Masjid to its full capacity. FANLINK POST was also distributed here. It was amazing to see the positive response of the people who got the copy of it. Judging from the initial response from the people, the paper suited the taste of readers from all walks of life. It will serve as a bridge between the local community and the FANLINK members. Today, as the copy of FANLINK Post is circulating in our community, we are moving into a new stage of opening up of our front to the local community, and that requires new thinking and a new mode of approach. Without loosing sight of the challenges that our community is facing in HK, it is important to reach our community. With close co-operation and contribution from all, we can make an impact and develop in parallel with other communities. A good partnership with the community is important in achieving our goals. I welcome Zahir's enthusiasm, as well as his commitment and vision in launching FANLINK Post. I appeal for contribution from all in making our community stronger and reputable. I am confident that with the collaborative efforts of all the parties involved, our community can rise up to the challenge and look forward to an even brighter tomorrow. Nesar
