EID UL-FITR ANNOUNCEMENT

Inshallah Azoja'l Eid ul-Fitr at the Fanling Masjid will be celebrated based on the crescent sighting and upon the announcement from Ulema (ISLAMIC scholars). If the moon is sighted on Tuesday, September 30 , 2008, we will Inshallah celebrate Eid on Wednesday, October 1,2008 and if the crescent is not sighted on Tuesday, we will Inshallah celebrate Eid on Thursday, October 2, 2008. Remember! Eid ul-Fitr is a day of thanks giving and jubilation as it signifies successful completion of the sacred month of Ramadan. Fanlink requests all Fanlink members to pray Eid ul-Fitr namaz in Fanling Masjid. Prayer time is 9:00. Please be informed that refreshment will be served after namaz. Please be there and give the best opportunity to all members to celebrate and rejoice in the glory and we pray that the graces and blessings of Allah remain with us throughout our lives. (Amen)

Dear Brothers............ASSALAM _ALAY_KUM. Further to my previous message, I am glad to inform you that this year our brother Zahid (ZADO) & his family has taken the responsibility of the arrangement for the NIYAZ (food / drinks) on the day. May ALLAH bless them and give them JIZZA. Sorry Zahid bhai for informing other but I think we should be happy to see some Fanling brothers are stepping up with us.
