It will be a great visit to stanley Mosque as this is the oldest Mosque in Hong Kong I suppose. Thanks to Nisar Bhai for Maintaining it. It will be our pleaseure to attend the Taravih Khatam there. I would request all the members to try your best to attend the Khatam. Insha Allah see you all there on 1st October, 2007.

You guys in Hong Kong are lucky to be able to go to Stanley Mosque. All should go with great enthusiasm as it will be a religious experience as well as a historical one for the young. Stanley has played an important role in early colonial history as well as during the Japanese occupation. The route itself is fantastic as the road winds through lush tropical foliage. Perhaps the event could have been an Iftari on a Saturday so people would not be worried about going back to work next day. Anyway Nisar keep up the good work and for looking after  the mosque. I reckon if you were not on the scene the authorities would have demolished the mosque long time ago. Is the building now listed with the Archeological department for preservation?  Can you kindly post pictures of the mosque on the site. Kind regards and Khuda Hafiz
