Community Support Organisation of Hong Kong
Introduction
Community Support Organisation of Hong Kong (CSOHK) was establishing in March 2008 as Not-for-Profit registered Organisation in Hong Kong. It is an ideally family base Organisation, it promotes family participation, and aims to assist families to enhance the awareness to improve the quality of life in Hong Kong and to assist Ethnic minorities integrate in Hong Kong¡¯s wider society.
Importance of As a Family
The family is the foundation of the Islamic belief and every civilized society. Peace and security offered by a stable family unit are greatly valued and spiritual growth; harmonious social order is create by the existence of extended families. Children are treasured and rarely leave home until the time they marry.
Enriching the Community
Our focus is to conduct community development projects, particularly in medical health, employment, community services, education & training for non-Chinese students, sports, recreation and culture exchange positively for ethnic minorities. In addition, to provide assistance and a helping hand to the elderly and to promote environmental protection projects.
Investing in the Future
CSOHK also aim to provide help for non-Chinese young people who are our future, to educate them to seek further education and all type of opportunities for all sectors, Primary/secondary school, University, training facilities and provided scholarship & grants. We also focus on the enhancement of capacity development of social, supportive network and the social integration of the ethnic minorities. We have Chinese language classes, interest groups, social groups, volunteer groups, employment counseling, cultural & festive activities, family activities, social integration activities, social inclusion activities, community education activities, drop in service etc.,
1. Disadvantaged groups are also assisted in their learning by provision of special equipment such as language classes, computer rooms, laborites, vocational training etc¡
2. Arabic Language translation in our national language.
3. Family domestic violence bridges.
4. FM broadcasting development and EM TV Channel

CSOHK will develop its relationships to promote it working partnerships with HKSAR Govt, local and international non-Chinese Organisations. |
